GRODNO, one of the leading Polish distributors of electrotechnical and lighting products, has completed a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 108 kWp. The photovoltaic panels power the Meat Processing Plant in Starowa Góra near Łódź. The company supplied key components for the installation from renowned brands, including SolarWorld PV panels and SMA Solar inverters.

The installed system, consisting of 432 photovoltaic panels, is highly efficient and powers the plant, whose energy demand at all times exceeds the generation capacity of the PV panels. As a result, all energy produced by the photovoltaic system is used by the plant. The total savings from the installation are estimated at around 50,000 PLN per year. GRODNO is one of the pioneers of commercial photovoltaic solutions in Poland.
